Variety Heart Scholarships

Proudly supported by the Grahame Mapp Family Foundation, Variety Queensland supports children with an existing talent across the arts, education and sport through Variety Heart Scholarships – helping them reach their full potential and follow their dreams.

What can a Scholarship cover?

Scholarships provide funding to support the next stage of development in a child’s chosen field, covering costs such as coaching, equipment, uniforms, lessons and other essential resources.

We are incredibly excited to announce the 20 young Queenslanders who have received Variety Heart Scholarships for 2026-27 proudly supported by the Grahame Mapp Family Foundation.

Our next Variety Heart Scholarships round opens 1 July 2027.

Sports

We support talented young athletes across a range of sports including basketball, athletics, netball, tennis and more.

Arts

We support emerging artists, dancers and musicians to continue developing their creative talents through dedicated mentorship, training and real world opportunities.

Education

We support dedicated young students to excel in their academic pursuits across a wide range of disciplines including science, technology, mathematics and beyond.
